Postnatal Pilates in the Copthorne, Crawley and East Grinstead area of West Sussex
All pregnancies and births are different, so my approach is to tailor exercises to suit your individual needs and focus on rebuilding your core and pelvic floor muscles, postural health and strengthen your body for life with a little one.
The classes are small and personalised for mums with their babies (of a pre-walking age) alongside them for the ride.
Classes can be started once you’ve had your postnatal check-up and been given the go ahead to exercise by your medical professional (advise around 6 weeks for a vaginal birth and 10 weeks for a caesarean).
These classes are taught by a postnatal exercise specialist, provide a safe space to feed, change and care for your baby and are a brilliant way to meet other mums.
What you’ll need
Please bring a fitness mat if you have one and anything you’ll need for your baby, including something comfy for them to sit, lay or play on. Fitness mats can be provided if you need one.

I have been attending Sarah’s prenatal pilates and love it! She explains all of the moves/stretches so well and gives modifications. And there is a gorgeous 5 minutes of relaxation at the end! Can’t wait to attend the postnatal classes to start working on my core postnatally!

I totally love the ‘you & baby’ class! I love how Sarah not only plans the class around us mums but also the babies! She really considers ways to involve them which makes it so much fun and stops them getting fed up.
